On March 9, the Civil Aviation Administration of China announced the suspension of Saudi Airlines’ Flight SV 884 from Riyadh to Guangzhou for two weeks starting March 15.
On February 25, five passengers on that flight tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
The Saudi Airlines Flights entering the country before March 15 on the above-mentioned route can continue.
If a flight triggers the circuit breaker mechanism during the period before March 15, it will result in an increase in suspension time.
