Flight TK 72 suspended for two weeks

On March 29, the Civil Aviation Administration of China announced the suspension of Turkish Airlines’ Flight TK 72 from Istanbul to Guangzhou for two weeks starting April 5.

On March 17, nine passengers on that flight tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

The Turkish Airlines’ Flights entering the country before April 5 on the above-mentioned route can continue.

If a flight triggers the circuit breaker mechanism during the period before April 5, it will result in an increase in suspension time.
