Flight CZ6044 and Flight NO946 suspended for respectively two and four weeks

On April 6 & 7, the Civil Aviation Administration announced the suspension of China Southern’s flight CZ6044 (Nairobi to Changsha) and Neos Airlines’ flight NO946 (Milan to Nanjing) starting April 12.

On March 25, 6 passengers on flight CZ6044 tested positive for the novel coronavirus which resulted in a 2-week suspension

On March 26, 10 passengers on flight NO946 tested positive for the novel coronavirus which resulted in a 4-week suspension.

Flights entering the country before April 12 on the above-mentioned route can continue.

If a flight triggers the circuit breaker mechanism during the period before its respective suspension start date, it will result in an increase in suspension time.
