Flight MU588 Suspended for Four Weeks

On April 8, the Civil Aviation Administration of China announced the suspension of China Eastern’s Flight MU588 from New York to Shanghai for four weeks starting April 19.

On March 30, ten passengers on that flight tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

The China Eastern’s Flights entering the country before April 19 on the above-mentioned route can continue.

If a flight triggers the circuit breaker mechanism during the period before April 19, it will result in an increase in suspension time.
