Two flights to China suspended

Cancelled Flights

On May 26, the Civil Aviation Administration announced the suspension of two international flights:

  • EgyptAir’s flight MS958 from Cairo to Guangzhou
  • Beijing Capital Airlines’ flight JD430 from Lisbon to Xi’an.

On May 14, five passengers on flight MS958 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Starting June 7, flight MS958 will continue to be suspended for 2 weeks. The flight has already be suspended for two weeks starting May 24.

On May 16, seven passengers on flight JD430 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Starting May 31, the JD430 flight (flying every Friday and Sunday) will be suspended for 2 weeks. After the suspension period expires, the flight frequency will be reduced to once a week. None of the above-mentioned fused flights may be used on other routes.
