CAAC suspends nine international flights to China

On July 29, the Civil Aviation Administration of China announced suspension against the following nine international flights:

  • China Eastern Airlines flight MU2032 from Yangon to Kunming
  • China Southern flights:
    • CZ6044 from Nairobi to Changsha
    • CZ348 from Paris to Guangzhou
    • CZ8182 from Nairobi to Shenzhen
    • CZ308 from Amsterdam to Guangzhou
  • Air China flights:
    • CA910 from Moscow to Lanzhou
    • CA906 from Yangon to Zhengzhou
    • CA908 from Madrid to Tianjin
  • Iraqi Airways IA473 from Baghdad to Guangzhou

On July 14, six passengers on flight IA473 and five passengers on flight MU2032 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, IA473 and MU2032 got suspended for two weeks starting August 2 and August 9 respectively.

On July 15, seven passengers on flight CZ6044 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, the CAAC suspended CZ6044 for two weeks starting August 16.

On July 16, seven passengers on flight CZ348 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CZ348 got suspended for two weeks starting August 9.

On July 17, six passengers on flight CZ8182, five passengers on flight CA910, and seven passengers on flight CZ308 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, the CAAC suspended CZ8182 and CZ308 for two weeks starting August 2 and CA910 for two weeks starting August 16.

On July 18, seven passengers on flight CA906, and five passengers on flight CA908 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CA908 and CA906 got suspended for two weeks starting August 2 and August 9 respectively.
