CAAC suspends two international flights to Guangzhou

On August 4, the Civil Aviation Administration of China announced suspension against the following two international flights:

  • Iraqi Airways flight IA473 from Baghdad to Guangzhou
  • China Southern flight CZ350 from Kuala Lumpur to Guangzhou

On July 21, six passengers on flight IA473 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, IA473 got suspended for two weeks starting August 16.

On July 23, five passengers on flight CZ350 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, the CAAC suspended CZ350 for two weeks starting August 9.
