Alert! CAAC suspends 5 flights and cancels 1 flight to China from November 1

Cancelled Flights

On October 26, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following five flights:

  • Air China flight CA910 from Moscow to Lanzhou
  • Scoot flight TR180 from Singapore to Nanjing
  • Uzbekistan Airways flight HY501 from Tashkent to Xi’an
  • Aeroflot flight SU208 from Moscow to Shanghai
  • Austrian Airlines flight OS075 from Vienna to Shanghai

On October 16, 5 passengers on flight CA910 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, the flight got suspended for two weeks starting November 1.

On October 14, 5 passengers on flight TR120 from Singapore to Wuhan tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As TR120 is an award flight of TR180, the flight TR180 got suspended for two weeks starting November 1 and the flight awards TR120/TR121 got canceled.

On October 14, 5 passengers on flight HY501 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

On October 15, 8 passengers on flight SU208 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

On October 16, 5 passengers on flight OS075 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, HY501, SU208, and OS075 got suspended for two weeks starting November 1.
