Astonishing! CAAC suspends 8 flights to China

Cancelled Flights

On January 6, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following EIGHT flights:

  • Air China flight CA770 from Los Angeles to Shenzhen
  • Air China flight CA934 from Paris to Tianjin
  • XiamenAir flight MF830 from Los Angeles to Xiamen
  • China Southern flight CZ308 from Amsterdam to Guangzhou
  • China Southern flight CZ312 from Toronto to Guangzhou
  • China Southern flight CZ6044 from Nairobi to Changsha
  • Air China flight CA988 from Los Angeles to Tianjin
  • Ethiopian Airlines flight ET684 from Addis Ababa to Shanghai

On December 22, 5 passengers on flight CA770 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CA770 was suspended for two weeks starting January 10, 2022.

On December 23, 9 passengers on flight CA934 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CA934 was suspended for two weeks starting January 10, 2022.

On December 24, 5 passengers on flight MF830 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, MF830 was suspended for two weeks starting January 17 2022.

On December 25, 6 passengers on flight CZ308 and 8 passengers on flight CZ312 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CZ308 and CZ312 were suspended for two weeks starting January 10, 2022.

On December 23, 15 passengers on flight CZ6044 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CZ6044 was suspended for four weeks starting January 10, 2022.

The flight CA988 has 15 passengers on December 27, and 11 passengers on January 3 that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CA988 is suspended for EIGHT weeks starting January 6, 2022.

On December 28, 8 passengers on ET684 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, ET684 is suspended for 2 weeks starting January 31, 2022.
