The CAAC suspends 5 more flights to China

Cancelled Flights

On January 25, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following FIVE flights:

  • KLM flight KL831 from Amsterdam to Hangzhou
  • SWISS flight LX188 from Zurich to Shanghai
  • Aeroflot flight SU208 from Moscow to Shanghai
  • Juneyao flight HO1608 from Helsinki to Shanghai
  • China Eastern flight MU570 from Paris to Shanghai

On January 17, 6 passengers on flight KL831, 5 passengers on flight LX188, 5 passengers on flight HO1608, and 9 passengers on flight MU570 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result:

  • KL831 was suspended for 2 weeks starting February 7.
  • LX188 was suspended for 2 weeks starting March 7.
  • HO1608 was suspended for 2 weeks starting February 14.
  • MU570 was suspended for 2 weeks starting March 7.

On January 21, 10 passengers on flight SU208 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, SU208 was suspended for 4 weeks starting March 7.
