The CAAC suspends 5 flights to China

Cancelled Flights

On February 4, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following FIVE flights:

  • Air China flight CA842 from Vienna to Beijing
  • Air China flight CA936 from Frankfurt to Shanghai
  • China Eastern flight MU2036 from Dhaka to Kunming
  • Air China flight CA946 from Karachi to Zhengzhou
  • Emirates flight EK362 from Dubai to Guangzhou

On January 23, 5 passengers on flight CA842, and 5 passengers on flight CA936 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result:

  • CA842 got suspended for 2 weeks starting February 7
  • CA936 got suspended for 2 weeks starting February 14

On January 24, 5 passengers on flight MU2036 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, MU2036 got suspended for 2 weeks starting February 14.

On January 26, 7 passengers on flight CA946 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CA946 got suspended for 2 weeks starting February 14.

On January 22, 11 passengers on flight EK362 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, EK362 got suspended for 4 weeks starting February 7.
