The CAAC suspends 2 flights from Singapore and cancels 2 others

Cancelled Flights

On February 18, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following TWO flights:

  • Air China flight CA404 from Singapore to Chengdu
  • China Eastern flight MU568 from Singapore to Shanghai

On February 9, 5 passengers on flight CA404 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Because CA767 (Hangzhou -Singapore) and CA768 (Singapore – Hangzhou) are award flights of CA404, the CAAC decided to:

  • Suspend CA404 for 2 weeks starting February 28
  • Cancel the award flights CA767 and CA768

On February 10, 5 passengers on flight MU568 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Because MU2069 (Xi’an – Singapore) and MU2070 (Singapore – Xi’an) are award flights of MU568, the CAAC decided to:

  • Suspend MU568 for 2 weeks starting February 28
  • Cancel the award flights MU2069 and MU2070
