International Flights to Shanghai to be diverted

In order to ease the pressure of epidemic prevention and control in Shanghai, the State Council decided to adjust some inbound international passenger flights to Shanghai from March 21 to May 1.

106 flights on 22 routes involving Air China, China Eastern, Shanghai Airlines, Juneyao Airlines and Spring Airlines are impacted.

Entry point for the above flights has been transferred from Shanghai Pudong Airport to one of the following 12 airports:

  • Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport
  • Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport
  • Fuzhou Changle International Airport
  • Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport
  • Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport
  • Kunming Changshui International Airport
  • Nanchang Changbei International Airport
  • Ningbo Lishe International Airport
  • Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport
  • Taiyuan Wusu International Airport
  • Changsha Huanghua International Airport
  • Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has asked relevant airlines to inform passengers who have purchased tickets of the changes in time to protect the rights and interests of consumers.

Travelers are advise to consult the specific information released on the airline’s official website.
