The CAAC suspends 2 more flights to China

Cancelled Flights

On March 29, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following TWO flights:

  • SWISS flight LX188 from Zurich to Shanghai
  • XiamenAir flight MF810 from Tokyo to Fuzhou

On March 21, 10 passengers on flight LX188 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, LX188 is suspended for four weeks starting April 11.

On March 16, 5 passengers on flight MF810 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Because MF810 was awarded an increase from one flight to two flights a week, the CAAC decided to suspended MF809/810 for two weeks starting April 4 and reduce the frequency to one a week at the end of the suspension.
