On May 5&6, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following NINE flights:
- T’way Air flight TW615 from Seoul to Wuhan
- China Eastern flight MU568 from Singapore to Nanchang
- China Southern flight CZ6092 from Vientiane to Guangzhou
- China Southern flight CZ348 from Paris to Guangzhou
- China Eastern flight MU542 from Bangkok to Nanchang
- China Southern flight CZ328 from Los Angeles to Guangzhou
- Juneyao flight HO1334 from Osaka to Dalian
- China Southern flight CZ8140 from Islamabad to Wuhan
- China Eastern flight MU220 from Frankfurt to Chengdu
On April 20, 6 passengers on flight TW615 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, TW615 was suspended for two weeks starting May 9.
On April 21, 7 passengers on flight MU568 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, MU568 was suspended for two weeks starting May 16.
On April 22, 10 passengers on flight CZ609 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, CZ6092 was suspended for four weeks starting May 9.
CZ348 had 7 passengers on April 22 and 11 passengers on April 29 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, CZ348 was suspended for SIX weeks starting May 16.
On April 24, 7 passengers on flight MU542, and 7 passengers on flight CZ328 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, MU542 and CZ328 got suspended for two weeks each starting May 9.
On April 26, 7 passengers on flight HO1334, and 5 passengers on flight CZ8140 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, HO1334 and CZ8140 got suspended for two weeks each starting May 16.
On April 21, 5 passengers on flight MU220 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
As a result, MU220 was suspended for two weeks starting May 16.
