Yikes! The CAAC suspends yet another 5 flights to China

Cancelled Flights

On May 10, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following FIVE flights:

  • Air China flight CA998 from Vancouver to Zhengzhou
  • China Southern flight CZ6092 from Vientiane to Guangzhou
  • China Southern flight CZ308 from Amsterdam to Guangzhou
  • Air France flight AF382 from Paris to Tianjin
  • Korean Air flight KE831 from Seoul to Shenyang

On April 29, 7 passengers on flight CA998, 5 passengers on flight CZ6092, 9 passengers on flight AF382, and 5 passengers on flight KE831 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result:

  • CA998, AF382, and KE831 were suspended for two weeks starting May 16.
  • CZ6092 was suspended for two weeks starting June 6.

On April 30, 9 passengers on flight CZ308 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, CZ308 was suspended for two weeks starting May 16.
