Yet Again! The CAAC suspends 8 more flights to China

Cancelled Flights

On June 28, the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following EIGHT flights:

  • Turkish Airlines flight TK72 from Istanbul to Guangzhou
  • Korean Air flight KE865 from Seoul to Guangzhou
  • Scoot flight TR180 from Singapore to Nanjing
  • China Eastern flight MU588 from New York to Fuzhou
  • Air France flight AF382 from Paris to Tianjin
  • China Eastern flight MU208 from Toronto to Shanghai
  • Air China flight CA934 from Paris to Tianjin
  • Juneyao Airways flight HO1608 from Helsinki to Hangzhou

On June 15, 7 passengers on flight TK72, and 5 passengers on flight KE865 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result:

  • TK72 was suspended for two weeks starting July 18.
  • KE865 was suspended for two weeks starting July 4.

On June 16,5 passengers on flight TR180, 5 passengers on flight MU588, and 10 passengers on flight CA934 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result:

  • TR180 was suspended for two weeks starting July 4.
  • MU588 was suspended for two weeks starting July 4.
  • CA934 was suspended for four weeks starting July 11.

On June 17, 10 passengers on flight AF382 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, AF382 was suspended for four weeks starting July 11.

On June 19, 13 passengers on flight MU208 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, MU208 was suspended for four weeks starting July 11.

On June 20, 10 passengers on flight HO1608 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, HO1608 was suspended for four weeks starting July 18.
