Oh Boy! The CAAC suspends 10 flights to China

Cancelled Flights

The CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following TEN flights:

  • Hainan Airlines flight HU728 from Madrid to Chongqing
  • Air China flight CA770 from Los Angeles to Shenzhen
  • China Southern flight CZ8022 from Istanbul to Wuhan
  • China Southern flight CZ6044 from Nairobi to Changsha
  • Air China flight CA950 from Milan to Hohhot
  • Lufthansa flight LH720 from Frankfurt to Shenyang
  • Lufthansa Monday flight LH728 from Frankfurt to Shanghai
  • Saudi flight SV884 from Riyadh to Guangzhou
  • Air Peace flight P47957 from Lagos to Guangzhou
  • Neos flight NO946 from Milan to Tianjin

On July 13, 6 passengers on flight HU728, 9 passengers on CA770, 8 passengers on LH720, and 8 passengers on Monday flight LH728 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result:

  • HU728 was suspended for two weeks starting August 8.
  • CA770 was suspended for two weeks starting August 8.
  • LH720 was suspended for two weeks starting August 8.
  • LH728 (Monday flight) was suspended for two weeks starting August 1.

On July 14, 5 passengers on flight CZ8022, 5 passengers on CZ6044, 5 passengers on flight CZ950, 5 passengers on flight SV884, 9 passengers on flight P47957, and 9 passengers on flight NO946 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result:

  • CZ8022 was suspended for two weeks starting August 1.
  • CZ6044 was suspended for two weeks starting August 1.
  • CA950 was suspended for two weeks starting August 29.
  • SV884 was suspended for two weeks starting August 15.
  • P47957 was suspended for two weeks starting August 1.
  • NO946 was suspended for two weeks starting August 1.
