Oh Boy! The CAAC suspends 8 more flights to China

Cancelled Flights

The CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following EIGHT flights:

  • China Eastern flight MU524 from Tokyo to Shanghai.
  • China Southern flight CZ312 from Toronto to Guangzhou.
  • Air China flight CA910 from Moscow to Beijing.
  • Air China flight CA738 from Warsaw to Shenyang.
  • Lucky Air flight 8L802 from Bangkok to Kunming.
  • Korean Air flight KE831 from Seoul to Shenyang.
  • Aeroflot flight SU216 from Moscow to Chengdu.
  • Air Canada flight AC25 from Vancouver to Shanghai.

On August 5, 6 passengers on flight MU524, and 5 passengers on flight KE831 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result:

  • MU524 was suspended for two weeks starting August 22.
  • KE831 was suspended for two weeks starting August 22.

On August 6, 6 passengers on flight CZ312, 9 passengers on flight CA910, 6 passengers on flight CA738, 5 passengers on flight 8L802, 6 passengers on flight SU216, and 6 passengers on flight AC25 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result:

  • CZ312 was suspended for two weeks starting August 22.
  • CA910 was suspended for two weeks starting August 29.
  • CA738 was suspended for two weeks starting August 22.
  • 8L802 was suspended for two weeks starting August 22.
  • SU216 was suspended for two weeks starting September 12.
  • AC25 (Friday flight) was suspended for two weeks starting August 22.
