Oh Boy! The CAAC suspends 2 more flights to China

Cancelled Flights

The CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following TWO flights:

  • Aeroflot flight SU216 from Moscow to Chengdu.
  • Lao flight QV815 from Vientiane to Kunming.

On August 13, 15 passengers on flight SU216, and 7 passengers on flight QV815 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, and based on the new suspension rules:

  • SU216 was suspended for one week starting September 26 (percentage of infected passengers account for 4% or more of total passengers).
  • QV815 (Saturday) was suspended for one week starting August 29 (percentage of infected passengers account for 4% or more of total passengers).
