CAAC: 9 flights to China suspended

Cancelled Flights

The CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following nine flights:

  • Scoot flight TR100 from Singapore to Guangzhou.
  • LOT flight LO93 from Warsaw to Tianjin.
  • Saudia flight SV882 from Riyadh to Guangzhou.
  • MIAT Mongolian Airlines flight OM235 from Ulaanbaatar to Guangzhou.
  • Capital Airlines flight JD436 from Lisbon to Hangzhou.
  • China Eastern flight MU570 from Paris to Shanghai.
  • Air China flight CA720 from Budapest to Tianjin.
  • China Southern flight CZ306 from Auckland to Guangzhou.
  • China Southern flight CZ348 from Paris to Guangzhou.

On October 16, 15 passengers on flight TR100, and 12 passengers on flight LO93 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, and based on the new suspension rules:

  • TR100 was suspended for two weeks starting October 31
  • LO1091 was suspended for two weeks starting October 31.

Flight SV882 had 14 passengers on October 17 and 12 passengers on October 24that tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, and based on the new suspension rules, flight SV884 (Sunday flight )was suspended for two weeks starting November 7.

On October 21, 6 passengers on flight CA720, 11 passengers on flight CZ306, and 10 passengers on flight CZ348 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, and based on the new suspension rules:

  • CA720 was suspended for one week starting November 7.
  • CZ306 (Thursday flight) was suspended for one week starting November 7.
  • CZ348 was suspended for one week starting November 7.

On October 23, 6 passengers on flight JD436 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, and based on the new suspension rules, JD436 (Saturday flight) was suspended for one week starting November 7.

On October 24, 11 passengers on flight OM235, and 10 passengers on flight MU570 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, and based on the new suspension rules:

  • OM235 was suspended for two weeks starting November 14
  • MU570 was suspended for two weeks starting November 14.
