CAAC: 4 flights to China suspended

Cancelled Flights

The CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) announced suspension against the following four flights:

  • Air China flight CA902 from Ulaanbaatar to Hohhot.
  • China Southern flight CZ8022 from Istanbul to Wuhan.
  • Lufthansa flight LH728 from Frankfurt to Shanghai.
  • LOT flight LO93 from Warsaw to Tianjin.

On October 27, 10 passengers on flight CA902, 8 passengers on flight CZ8022, 10 passengers on flight LH728, and 6 passengers on flight LO93 tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

As a result, and based on the new suspension rules:

  • CA902 (Wednesday flight) was suspended for two weeks starting November 14.
  • CZ8022 was suspended for two weeks starting November 14.
  • LH728 (Wednesday flight) was suspended for one week starting November 14.
  • LO1091 was suspended for one week starting November 14.

MU570 was suspended for two weeks starting November 14.
