Since July 5, 2018, the People’s Republic of China Embassy in Tunisia has put in place a China Online Visa Application system (COVA) and an Appointment for Visa Application Submission system (AVAS).
All the visa applicants (including those who are holders of diplomatic and service passports) need to fill in the online application form at https://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn, print it out, and sign the confirmation page before starting to prepare all relevant documents (including passport) needed for each visa type they are applying.
